Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU's)

Maybe you have a home already on a lot of land where zoning allows you to build an ADU?

An Accessory Dwelling Unit or ADU is basically a small version of a home that may be allowed (with certain restrictions) on the same zoning lot as an existing home. They are sometimes referred to as granny-homes or mother-in-law's apartments and can even be carriage houses or apartments above detached garages. They can equally fit the description of a Tiny House or Vacation Home in the pull-down menu here. If you have an existing home on a good amount of land, perhaps the zoning in your area will allow you to build an ADU? An ADU could be a great way for you to monetize your property or, of course, create a cool place for your mother-in-law.

If you're thinking of building a monetizable home, maybe you have enough land to include an ADU or two...

Even if you don't have an existing home you could plan an ADU in addition to your new house to further monetize your investment opportunities. It would be a great way to distribute opportunities across your acreage and really put your property to work earning revenue. We apply the same principals to our ADU's as we apply to our custom homes and tiny houses. Please send us a message and let us know what you're thinking.
