The past few years of dodging covid and working from home has created a surge of city dwellers seeking out the beautiful wooded landscape of upstate New York as a refuge and safe place to invest in their health and well-being. A reoccurring dream of building an upstate NY cabin-in-the-woods scintillates our imagination. But few have woken up to this dream's growing feasibility - even with relaxed covid restrictions and our recovering economy. Fewer have noticed that our past year's social circumstance has actually spawned a new housing typology and investment opportunity: Imagine a new home-design directly informed by what we've just learned about social distancing and human interaction.
