Eco Housing Development
The Eco Housing development is a series of 1 & 2 bedroom temporary housing units for professors and students near an upstate New York university. The plan and orientation of the individual units and the views from those units prioritize a sense of wooded seclusion and privacy in spite of the development's medium density.
Mineral Springs House
The Mineral Springs House in the Hudson Valley is a one-bedroom home with the open glass living area lifted off the ground by four vertical piers. The four piers contain private spaces with large skylight roofs.

Mineral Springs Pavilion
The Mineral Springs Pavilion is a one-bedroom Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). The ground level concrete shear structure contains a bathroom and holds up the glass box which is further supported by delicate concrete columns. The roof garden is accessible via a spiral stair off the rear deck and the living room can function as a secondary guest room.

Tea House Tree House
This small Tea House in the Hudson Valley uses timber lattice walls, that simulate a bamboo forest, to provide the building shear strength while holding up the elevated floor and roof independently. Insulated glazing walls define the interior space.
Twin Gable Cabin / ADU
The Twin Gable one-story single-bedroom cabin in upstate NY separates the private from public areas with a breezeway bridge that allows the landscape to slip underneath. A loft above the kitchen is included for little guests.
